Classic 'Cycle'

    This is a view of the 'classic' perception of the physical water cycle, as it operates here on our planet.

    In all almost 2,000 cubic kilometres or water evaporate from the seas every day,

    enough to lower the surface of all the oceans by about two and a half millimetres

    were it not for the constant return flow that occurs through river and rain.
