Cycles in Everything

    - Cycles are a basic pattern of nature, present in all aspects of all the universe. Life is a cyclic process. We experience cycles at every moment and can learn to see them everywhere. Each cycle results in a change in us and we grow - we learn - in our shared experiences.

    - Cycles of life are tied to physical cycles. Day and night is a cycle caused by the spinning of the Earth and it times our own cycles of waking and sleeping. Summer and winter are part of the seasonal cycle, created as the earth moves around the sun each year. Seasons time our growing and harvest cycles and the reproductive cycles of the plants and animals. Lunar cycles influence the tides and the behaviour of living systems. Water cycles through our bodies and through the whole living world, constantly moving from sea to air to land through living creatures and back to the sea again.

    - Cyclic patterns of behaviour create us and the living world we share with so many other creatures. Cycles of becoming are the very heart of life itself. You will discover cycles at every level of life; molecular, cellular, multicellular, ecosystem, planetary, and cosmological.
